FAO scientists Marco and Enrico have developed a WEFE Nexus system, tested with the Jordan Valley Authority at King Talal Dam. This innovation significantly reduces water loss from evaporation, addressing Jordan's annual loss of 25 million cubic meters and enhancing water security in a water-scarce region.
The system promises billions in cost savings, boosts energy efficiency by 20%, and supports healthier food cultivation and agricultural expansion. It also extends solar panel lifespan, embodying the principle: "Every Drop Counts." Visit [fao.org](http://www.fao.org).
