A consultation and dialogue session for private sector representatives in food systems will take place on January 21, preceding LARC39. This session offers an opportunity to engage with FAO regional representatives and technical leaders.
Participants will also coordinate to develop a statement outlining the sector's position for LARC39 member countries and select representatives for the main conference in March.

World Food Day 2025 culminated a year-long campaign for FAO's 80th anniversary. Its call to action, "Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future," was communicated in over 53 languages.
The campaign achieved significant global reach: 8,300+ online news articles, 58 million radio listeners, 112 TV broadcasters, and 1.5 billion social media accounts. FAO.org saw 368,000 views. Partnerships with municipalities, transport, retail, and entertainment companies extended the message to 100+ cities in 50 countries.
