Amazonía, un territorio de vida y bioeconomías
April 08, 2026

A video showcases the Tacana indigenous people in the Bolivian Amazon, who view their forest as life and future. For generations, they have sustainably managed over 49,000 hectares, leveraging Asaí (acai) under conservation principles through the Sustainable Forests Project. Technical and financial assistance has bolstered their productive capacities, infrastructure, and quality standards, facilitating access to national and international markets.

Women are vital to the Asaí value chain. From the Amazon to global markets like Washington, Tacana Asaí proves that income generation, biodiversity protection, and climate resilience can be achieved simultaneously.
