In Haiti, escalating violence, severe drought, and acute food insecurity have led to widespread internal displacement. Emergency food production assistance is crucial for vulnerable rural households, enabling them to meet immediate food needs and restore their agricultural capabilities.

Local farmers and displaced individuals, like Annabelle Joseph and Chrisla Benjamin, share how fast-growing seeds and small livestock are helping families produce food, cover school expenses, and rebuild their livelihoods. With support from the Haiti Humanitarian Fund, FAO is assisting over 320,000 people in the Artibonite, Centre, and Ouest departments to combat food insecurity.
