January 13, 2026

The 39th FAO Regional Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean (LARC39) serves as the organization's main regional governing body. Here, Member States, ministers, and high-level officials meet to establish regional priorities for the upcoming biennium and address critical food and agriculture challenges.

A central objective of LARC39 is to integrate scientific and academic perspectives. These contributions will focus on FAO's strategic themes: better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life for all.
