About This Collection

Founder Kenny Ausubel coined the term Bioneers in 1990 to describe an emerging culture. Bioneers are social and scientific innovators from all walks of life and disciplines who have peered deep into the heart of living systems to understand how nature operates, and to mimic "nature's operating instructions" to serve human ends without harming the web of life.

The Bioneers Conference is a leading-edge forum presenting breakthrough solutions for people and planet. Check out Bioneers on YouTube.

Daughters for Earth: Women and the Climate Change Movement | Bioneers

Women worldwide, particularly in the "developing world," disproportionately bear the brunt of climate change and environmental degradation, yet their voices are frequently overlooked. Climate, physical, and psycho-spiritual health are deeply interconnected, not separate issues.

A panel of leading women activists, including Zainab Salbi, Nina Simons, Justin Winters, Kahea Pacheco, and Helena Gualinga, explored climate's impact on women. They advocated for women's full inclusion in all climate solutions, linking these struggles to personal healing and authentic global change.

This discussion took place at the 2022 Bioneers Conference. Learn more at http://www.bioneers.org.
